Job summary

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI) is seeking a Case Manager/Employment Specialist to support Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP) in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in social work, human services, counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in workforce development, employment services, or a related field.
• Reliable transportation and use of a personal vehicle; mileage is reimbursed at the current federal rate.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Meet with veterans to learn skills, work history, interests, and barriers to employment.
• Develop personal employment plans with goals, steps, and timelines.
• Help veterans assess eligibility and enroll in the program.
• Teach resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, and professional conduct.
• Provide one-on-one career counseling and connect veterans to local jobs and training.
• Assist with job applications, interview prep, and negotiating terms.
• Maintain employer relationships and place veterans in suitable roles.
• Coordinate with community partners and providers for housing, transportation, mental health, and legal aid.
• Keep confidential client records and submit regular program reports.
