Job summary

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI) is hiring an Employment Specialist for the Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP). You will guide veterans from eligibility through placement, coordinating with partners to secure livable-wage positions and ongoing support.

You will conduct assessments, design individualized employment plans, and provide job readiness training while tracking outcomes and reporting on progress to grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in workforce development or employment services.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Experience with veterans or homeless populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet veterans to learn skills, work history, and goals.
• Develop personal employment plans with timelines and follow-up.
• Provide job readiness training and resume/interview coaching.
• Build relationships with local employers for placement.
