AEG Worldwide in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee venue events and shows, staff recruitment and scheduling, and on-site operations. You will manage guest relations, customer experience, and support the General Manager with projects as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating lighting, video and sound, overseeing maintenance and security, budgeting input, and ensuring smooth daily office operations during events.

Formación

• BA/BS in Business Management or related field.
• 6-8 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience in production including scheduling, staff management and payroll.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee venue events and shows; staffing, scheduling and show settlement.
• Coordinate technical aspects (lighting, video, sound) and parking/sponsorship.
• Manage staffing levels and approve hours for part-time staff.
• Oversee maintenance, security and safety at events.
• Manage office operations and guest relations; handle VIP tickets.
• Advise GM on budgeting, forecasting and monthly statements.
• Make decisions in GM's absence and lead in their stead.
