Zusammenfassung

AEG, a leading live entertainment company, seeks an Operations Manager for United Heritage Hall in Austin and the surrounding region. You will oversee day-to-day operations, marketing shows, coordinate with the General Manager, and work with production to advance events within budgets.

You will ensure top-notch customer service, supervise staff, manage schedules, and drive venue improvements and cost estimates. A strong background in live events and leadership is essential.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS degree in business management or related field.
• 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Experience managing private and concert events.
• Experience in venue and events operation, tours, including artist communication and settlements.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous management experience with leadership skills.
• Strong organizational/project management skills with multitasking.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for project managing shows, coordinating with client/tour managers, reviewing artist contracts related to production, merchandise, ticketing, and rider requirements.
• Develop policies and procedures with operations team, assist in planning and cost estimates, supervise staff at venues/projects.
• Ensure high level of customer service and day-of-show operations, manage backstage area and hospitality for artists.
• Handle day-to-day office administration, staff schedules, timekeeping, hiring, supervising and performance monitoring.
• Procure equipment and supplies at competitive prices, negotiate vendor contracts and maintain vendor relationships.
• Contribute to venue improvements and capital projects, obtain bids, perform ROI analyses, oversee projects to completion.
• Handle day-of-show settlement, prepare invoices and payroll discrepancy resolutions.
