Job summary

AEG Worldwide in Austin, TX, is seeking a Manager Ticketing to oversee the end-to-end ticketing process for events, ensuring accurate event setup, inventory management, and sales reporting. You will partner with venue teams and artist management to develop ticketing programs that meet business objectives and drive customer engagement.

The role requires leadership in ticketing operations, collaboration with various stakeholders, and the training of staff on ticket sales and event operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) required.
• 4–6 years of related work experience in the entertainment industry.
• Experience in live entertainment and music industry preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with ticketing platforms (AXS, Ticketmaster).

Responsibilities

• Gather show information from artist and talent buyer to build shows in ticketing software.
• Develop scaling for each show/event based on market demographics and venue location.
• Manage ticket holds and process orders for artist management and internal buys.
• Prepare and distribute daily ticket counts for agents, departments and offices.
• Coordinate with Talent Buyer, venue, artist and partners like Groupon for discounts.
• Train new ticketing staff on sales, will call, comps, and event coordination.
