Job summary

AEG Worldwide in Austin, TX seeks an Operations Manager for the United Heritage Hall to oversee venue operations and event management. You will market shows, coordinate with the General Manager and production teams, and ensure shows are fulfilled within budget while delivering excellent guest experiences.

The role requires 4–6 years in venue operations, a BA/BS in Business Management, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; a strong focus on leadership, organization, and customer

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business Management or related field.
• 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Experience in venue and events operation, tours, including artist communication and settlements.
• Strong organizational/ project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work load.
• Computer savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Project manage shows with client or tour managers to ensure all needs are met.
• Develop policies and procedures with the operations team and oversee staff for venues and projects.
• Ensure high level of customer service and oversee day-of-show operations at venue.
• Manage office administration including staff schedules, timekeeping, and payroll discrepancies.
• Procure equipment and supplies at competitive prices; negotiate vendor contracts.
• Propose venue improvements and manage ROI analyses for capital projects.
