Job summary

AEG Worldwide is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee venue operations and event execution across a regional portfolio in Austin, TX. You will work with the General Manager and production teams to ensure shows run smoothly, on budget, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires 4–6 years in venue or event operations, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Occasional nights, weekends, or holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Management or related field.
• 4–6 years of related work experience in events or venue operations.
• Experience managing private and concert events.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and budgeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day venue operations and event execution.
• Coordinate with General Manager to meet event requirements and budgets.
• Manage staff schedules, payroll discrepancies, and vendor relations.
• Ensure high level of customer service and safe event environments.
• Handle administrative tasks including cost estimates and ROIs for improvements.
