Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sales Manager, Venues to guide customers through event experiences and identify solutions that meet goals, driving revenue from the assigned client base. You will cultivate relationships with hotel personnel and collaborate across Encore teams to deliver world-class service.

The role requires a track record in sales, hospitality or audiovisual environments, strong communication, and the ability to manage proposals, quotes, site visits, and forecasts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience required
• 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
• Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
• Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
• Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
• Prepare and present quotes and proposals, including those via encore websites or venue booking systems
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events
• Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support the customer experience
• Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs per profitability guidelines
• Cultivate relationships with customers and venue personnel to deliver world-class service
• Research customer history to tailor experiences and respond to questions and concerns
• Ensure CRM data is up to date and accurate at all times
• Refer customers through the Encore network to secure additional opportunities
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
• Keep opportunities in CRM updated and contribute to forecasting
• Adopt SOPs and stay current with new products and initiatives
