Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage floor activities, supervise technicians and ensure exceptional client service at events. You will oversee scheduling, inventory control and post-event follow-up to drive efficiency and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes staff development, cost control, and thoughtful leadership in a live-event environment supporting large-scale hotel productions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading workflow and team members.
• Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment.
• Proficiency with computer hardware.
• Proficiency with computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily floor activities and workflow of technicians to ensure equipment and services are delivered on time, in good condition and as specified by clients and the hotel.
• Provides direct supervision of team members including scheduling and time keeping.
• Ensures billing is reviewed and approved by clients, and advises on potential challenges.
• Ensures daily equipment sheets are updated and properly completed.
• Manages inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels and safety, security, and quality assurance of equipment.
• Attends BEO, Pre-Cons, and pre-production meetings as needed.
• Delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Reviews quotes and provides cost-efficiency recommendations per SOPs.
• Supervises operational staff to ensure client satisfaction and revenue via onsite upselling.
• Establishes excellent relationships with clients, Encore properties and vendors; mentors technicians.
• Meets with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Maintains a polished, professional image per Employee Guide and hotel standards.
