Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee hotel floor operations, leading technicians and supporting staff to deliver high-quality AV services and client satisfaction. The role involves managing schedules, inventory, and on-site coordination with clients and hotel staff to ensure flawless show execution.

Candidates should have extensive AV and hospitality experience, with a proven track record in supervising teams and driving revenue via upselling and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading workflow and team members.
• Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment.
• Proficiency with the use of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily floor activities and workflow of technicians to ensure equipment/services are delivered on time and as specified by clients and the hotel.
• Provides direct supervision of team members including scheduling and time keeping.
• Ensures billing is reviewed and approved by clients and advises management of potential challenges.
• Manages inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels and safety/quality of equipment.
• Attends BEO, Pre-Cons, and pre-production meetings as needed.
• Del Bares tasks as appropriate and mentors staff to provide outstanding customer service.
