Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, focusing on customer service, staff leadership and development.

You will directly supervise the technical team to ensure operational efficiency, top-tier service, and seamless event delivery across hotel/convention settings. This role reports to the DET, DOO, or Operations Manager and may support location administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet training/certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s training/certification requirements.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technicians and suggests operations improvements to venue management and Workforce.
• Maintain flowsheets and ensure proper communications for event management.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Train technicians on floor activities and Encore’s service standards.
• Lead setup, operation and breakdown of intermediate AV equipment; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
