Job summary

Encore Global seeks a skilled operations leader to manage floor activities, supervise technicians, and control inventory for high-quality AV service at events. You will ensure on-time delivery, accurate billing, and excellent guest satisfaction while mentoring staff and driving revenue through onsite upsells.

The role requires 4+ years in AV and hospitality, plus 2+ years in supervision, with strong knowledge of AV gear and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading workflow and team members.
• Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment
• Proficiency with computer hardware
• Proficiency with computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office
• Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily floor activities and technicians to deliver equipment and services on time and per client specs.
• Provides direct supervision including scheduling and time keeping.
• Ensures billing is reviewed and approved by clients and flags challenges.
• Maintains daily equipment sheets and updates inventory controls.
• Attends BEO, Pre-Cons, and pre-production meetings as needed.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Reviews quotes and advises on cost efficiencies.
• Mentors operational staff to maximize client satisfaction and onsite upselling.
• Builds relationships with clients, Encore properties, and vendors to ensure service excellence.
• Ensures guests' needs are met and equipment works properly.
