Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership, and development. The role directs the technical team to ensure efficient operations and high client satisfaction.

In addition to onsite event support, you may participate in location administrative duties and contribute to the career development of the team. A proactive, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 year of audio-visual experience is required.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements per Encore’s program.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure the timely set up, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technician workflow and suggests operational efficiencies for venue management and Workforce.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
• Works with team to establish coordinated communications for event management.
• Attends venue meetings as needed (e.g., banquet event order meetings, pre/post conferences).
• Assists in training technicians on floor activities and Encore’s service and operational standards.
• Responsible for accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoots technical issues and ensures equipment security, storage, and maintenance.
