Job summary

Aston Carter in Hanover, MD seeks an Accounts Payable Associate to manage vendor invoicing and payments within the Sub-Vendor Program, providing essential financial and administrative support.

The role handles payment processing for 650-750 sub-contractors, reviews internal controls, resolves discrepancies, and prepares reports for managers. Works full-time onsite 7 am–4 pm in Hanover, MD.

Qualifications

• Prior AP experience required.
• Pursuing a 2-year business-related degree.
• 1–2 years in customer service or a business/financial environment.
• Oracle Fusion experience preferred; AP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate payment processing for 650-750 sub-contractors.
• Audit systems to ensure correct payment releases and controls.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies with high service level.
• Support field offices and Operations for vendor and payment queries.
• Produce reports for field and corporate managers.
