Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for a temporary assignment in Columbia, MD. The role covers creating and posting vendor invoices, processing reimbursements via Concur, and handling client refunds as part of a system implementation through February 2027.

The position requires 2–3 years of AP experience, strong Excel and data-entry skills, and on-site collaboration from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with invoice processing and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Concur expense reimbursements.

Responsibilities

• Create, code, and audit vendor invoices in the Procure-to-Pay system.
• Audit and approve employee expense reimbursements in Concur.
• Process check requests and client refunds through electronic forms.
• Code payments in accordance with Accounts Payable instructions.
• Integrate and post invoice files into Business Central.
• Audit invoice batches for accuracy and reconcile vendor statements.
• Research outstanding invoices and monitor Accounts Payable email.
• Assist with new vendor setup and distribute checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
