Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA is seeking a detail‑oriented Vehicle Operational Specialist II to join our team in a day shift. You will manage vehicle inventory, support auction operations, and communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate order processing.

You will read order histories, verify kickback notes, and maintain data integrity across systems while contributing to margin improvements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining vehicle records and inventory.
• Ability to read and interpret order histories and kickback notes.
• Strong communication with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in real-time phone calls to verify vehicle status with pickup sites.
• Build relationships with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and regional emails.
• Enter manual orders and process AS400 system orders.
• Monitor holds and verification delays; escalate as needed.
• Dispatch negotiation to increase margin and oversee carrier compliance.
• Follow up with carriers daily on VIN statuses.
