Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a detailed Vehicle Operational Specialist in Phoenix to manage vehicle records, respond to inquiries, and support auction operations.

You will ensure data accuracy, verify order history, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet program requirements. The role emphasizes strong communication, timely updates, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Maintain accurate vehicle records and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with clients, vendors and internal teams to provide updates and gather information.
• Review order history to verify vehicle status and kickback notes to inform decisions.
• Identify and act on issues affecting vehicle timing and quality.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle status by phone with pickup sites.
• Build relationships with Manheim Auction commercial team.
• Enter manual orders and process AS400 orders.
• Monitor holds, verification delays and carrier communications.
• Dispatch negotiation to improve margins and dispatch times.
• Follow up on VINs and post-transaction notes with carriers.
• Contribute to performance reporting for management.
