Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Operational Specialist to manage vehicle inventory, support auction operations, and ensure timely updates to clients and internal teams. This role requires proactive communication, data accuracy, and problem-solving to maintain high service quality.

You will read and review order histories, verify vehicles, and coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure program requirements are met. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in vehicle logistics or inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle status with pickup sites via real-time phone calls.
• Manage multiple email boxes and coordinate regional communications.
• Enter manual orders and process AS400 system orders.
• Monitor holds, verifications, and delays; escalate as needed.
• Assist in maximizing margins through negotiation and sales tactics.
• Review and correct master data for locations and orders.
• Measure and report on performance trends for clients and vendors.
