Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Operational Specialist to support vehicle inventory, auction operations, and cross-functional communications.

The role emphasizes accuracy in vehicle records, prompt issue resolution, and timely verification of orders. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with day-to-day tasks including data verification, vendor coordination, and performance reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Make real-time phone calls to verify vehicle status with pickup sites.
• Build relationships with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Enter all manual orders and process other AS400 system orders.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays; dispatch negotiations to increase margin.
• Read and review order history, including kickback notes, to make informed decisions.
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor; monitor data integrity and order entry failures.
