Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Reconditioning Account Operations Specialist II to support vehicle reconditioning, inspections, and related administrative duties across auction operations. The role emphasizes customer service, coordination with account representatives, and audits to minimize losses.

You will collaborate with multiple auction departments, learn condition report data, and use Outlook and Excel to track progress while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field OR 5 years' experience in a related field
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
• Reconditioning inspection experience preferred
• Client servicing and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Review vehicles in sale lineup, locate missing vehicles, and coordinate with account representatives to ensure vehicles are ready and parked on-spot for sale.
• Monitor vehicle reconditioning processes, support the client team, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth auction operations.
• Educate clients on company products and services.
• With assistance from senior peers and auction departments, review sales lineup vehicles, coordinate reconditioning services, and conduct condition reports and imaging audits to reduce policy loss and goodwill expenses.
• Develop foundational understanding of auction services concepts, including condition report data and the vehicle inspection process.
• Basic knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel) and other internal platforms.
• Follow safety procedures and actively participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned
