Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Inspector to verify vehicle identifications, inspect equipment, and document condition data for online exchanges. The role involves outdoor work, precise data entry, and collaboration with inspectors to confirm report results.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED, 0-1 years in related fields, and the ability to pass an inspector certification within 90 days. A valid driver’s license is required and overtime may be possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years in body shop, mechanical, claims adjuster or estimating experience preferred.
• Must pass Inspector Certification Exam within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Must be able to multitask and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle identification and enter basic information into the database.
• Inspect vehicle equipment, exterior and interior for damage and document results.
• Enter and verify data entry supporting documentation of vehicle condition.
• Perform post-sale inspections and document results in the database.
• Review completed vehicle condition reports with inspectors and provide guidance.
