Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail‑oriented vehicle inspector to verify conditions of incoming vehicles and document findings. You will inspect interiors, exteriors, and mechanical systems, and prepare electronic condition reports (ECR).

The role requires sharp communication, the ability to follow procedures, and the stamina to stand or walk during inspections. Overtime may be required based on business needs, with a daytime schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typically less than 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information and identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues upon receipt.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Conduct day-end procedures and maintain system knowledge.
