Turner Construction Company is seeking a skilled VDC/BIM professional for a full-time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project portfolio. Responsibilities include leading BIM coordination, coordinating with designers, engineers and on-site trades, and applying VDC processes on project sites.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in BIM, VDC, and related software, with excellent collaboration skills and a readiness to travel 70–80%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field with minimum 4 years of experience or equivalent
• CM-BIM designation and continuing education credits preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and project schedules
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and specifications related to VDC
• Ability to develop specialized solutions and anticipate challenges, risks, and opportunities
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage competing demands and deadlines
• Basic scripting/coding skills (Dynamo, Python)
• Proficiency with BIM tools such as Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, ACC
• Familiar with Lumion/Twinmotion; Unreal/Unity experience a plus
• Familiar with Reality Capture workflows (Autodesk ReCap) and 3D point clouds
• Collaborative and interdisciplinary teamwork mindset
• Commitment to continuous improvement; travel as required
• Physical and safety requirements in a construction environment

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC design and coordination review of BIM models on project site with stakeholders
• Coordinate VDC meetings, file management, and document control per SOPs
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings, track action items, and support communications with the VDC team
• Perform VDC engineering tasks including BIM coordination, submittals, and RFIs
• Prepare quantity variance reports for estimating and change management
• Develop presence on construction sites to resolve constructability issues and communicate solutions
• Collaborate with VDC team to execute BIM coordination schedule
• Apply BIM execution plans using related software tools
• Participate in expanding VDC services and deliverables (4D modeling, scheduling, VR/AR)
• Explore deployment of innovative VDC tools in controlled environments and capture lessons learned
• Other duties as assigned
