Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced BIM/VDC Lead to oversee daily management of BIM processes aligned with construction schedules on complex projects. You will lead the VDC team, promote best practices, and ensure alignment with Turner Digital Build standards across multiple trades.

Responsibilities include coordinating BIM tool usage, guiding constructability reviews, maintaining data integrity, and communicating impacts on project scheduling to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily BIM/VD C processes aligned with project schedules and Turner's standards.
• Understand VDC objectives to advise teams on compliance with Turner Digital Build standards.
• Coordinate BIM tool usage and resource allocation based on project constraints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes for multiple projects with VDC leadership.
• Understand VDC objectives to ensure compliance with Turner's standards.
• Plan BIM tools and processes with the VDC management team for specific jobs.
• Develop and refine BIM implementation plans in alignment with contracts.
• Provide QC on quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Mentor and lead the VDC project team through planning and launch activities.
• Leverage trade knowledge to contribute to constructability reviews.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders to communicate BIM objectives.
• Communicate BIM changes and impacts on construction schedule to the scheduling team.
• Track VDC change orders with the project team.
• Inform project management on progress, budget, and staffing needs.
• Participate in VDC project reviews to report progress and impact.
• Collaborate with PM and QC to align with quality requirements.
• Promote EH&S LIFE principles and enforce safety protocols.
• Interpret and enforce VDC contracts, especially around data confidentiality and usage.
• Other duties as assigned.
