Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled VDC/BIM leader to oversee BIM workflows and coordinate with project teams on large-scale construction programs. You will mentor the VDC group, drive standard compliance, and optimize modeling to support project schedules and budgets.

The role requires a strong background in BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Thorough knowledge of VDC tools and application in construction, cost, scheduling and coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes for multiple projects.
• Lead VDC team and ensure adherence to Turner Digital Build standards.
• Develop BIM implementation plans aligned with contracts and schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams to plan tools and resource allocation.
• Provide quality control of quantity variance reports for estimating and changes.
• Mentor and lead VDC project teams through planning and launch activities.
• Communicate BIM changes and impacts to scheduling teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure EH&S LIFE principles are integrated into VDC activities.
