Parking Management Company (PMC) is a national leader in hospitality-focused parking services. The Assistant Account Manager position is based in Petersburg, VA, supporting the Account Manager in daily valet operations across multiple properties.

Expect guest service focus, staff hiring and development, operational supervision, payroll review, and safety compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of supervisory experience in customer service or hospitality, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Relevant management or leadership training or certifications preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Background-screening requirements compliant with company policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily valet operations, including safe parking and retrieval; ensure security of keys and shift coverage.
• Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and required training; coach staff and develop future leaders.
• Monitor guest service and uniforms; provide performance feedback and administer progressive discipline under guidance.
• Communicate with associates and client contacts; resolve guest and operational concerns; help retain accounts.
• Audit timecards, tips, wage adjustments, and vehicle counts; submit reports and enforce revenue procedures.
• Participate in on-call coverage and handle staffing, service, and safety needs; work evenings, weekends, holidays as required.
• Attend meetings and training; travel occasionally for account support.
