Merck seeks a Vaccine Customer Representative to support providers with clinical vaccine information, patient outcomes, and contract adherence within a defined territory. You will collaborate with account teams to align customer needs with vaccine attributes and improve immunization rates.

The role requires knowledge of CDC schedules, strong communication, and the ability to manage education and tools to enhance vaccine uptake across clinics and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years sales experience or high school diploma with 4+ years in sales/marketing/healthcare field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Engage in balanced product sales presentations to providers and business professionals.
• Provide vaccine management updates to improve patient outcomes and contract performance.
• Keep customers informed with scientific, product, and marketplace information.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to educate customers on contract performance.
• Assist customers with education to improve immunization rates using tools like Vaccine IQ.
• Develop territory-level plans to improve immunization rates within policies and ethics.
• Maintain knowledge of vaccine portfolio and CDC immunization schedule.
