Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist for a C&P evaluation role. This non-treatment position focuses on structured evaluations, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with flexible scheduling and no ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

The ideal candidate will perform VA-guided assessments, review medical history, conduct audiometry, and prepare VA-compliant reports, while maintaining objectivity and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Must have access to a calibrated audiometer for VA-required evaluations.
• Must have access to a diagnostic tympanometer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review records and obtain focused history.
• Conduct audiometric testing and document results.
• Prepare clear VA-format reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain objectivity and avoid influencing claim outcomes.
• Submit examination documentation within deadlines.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
