Job summary

Empower Mental Health seeks a Licensed Audiologist to perform VA-compliant C&P evaluations on a flexible, contractor basis. This role focuses on testing, evaluation, and detailed reporting without patient care or insurance billing.

Applicants must hold an active license and have access to a calibrated audiometer and tympanometer. In-person opportunities may be available; compensation is per evaluation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Calibrated audiometer for VA-required evaluations.
• Diagnostic tympanometer capability for tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Maryland CNC speech testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and collect focused history.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare VA-compliant reports promptly and clearly.
• Maintain evaluation–treatment boundaries and objectivity.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
