Job summary

Empower Mental Health seeks licensed Audiologists to perform VA C&P evaluations as independent contractors. The role is evaluation-focused with no patient care or billing.

You will review records, conduct testing, and report findings in VA formats, contributing meaningfully to Veteran assessments. Flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities are available; compensation ranges from $150 to $185 per evaluation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and examination information.
• Obtain focused history through structured interviews.
• Perform audiometric testing and related clinical documentation as required.
• Prepare clear, concise VA-format reports.
• Provide objective, fact-based findings without influencing claims outcomes.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Follow all applicable ethical, legal, professional, and confidentiality requirements.
