Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to perform VA-required C&P evaluations on a flexible, non-treatment basis. You will review records, conduct targeted testing, and document findings for veterans, without ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

This 1099 contractor role offers flexible scheduling, in-person opportunities, and meaningful work supporting Veterans with objective, fact-based assessments.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and examination information.
• Obtain history via focused, objective interviews.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare VA-formatted reports clearly and timely.
• Provide objective findings without bias in claims decisions.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Adhere to ethical, legal and confidentiality standards.
