Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will support acquisition stakeholders, demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios, and travel up to 50% to field-testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsabilités

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and mapping operational needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air execution of field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Align work with the Business Development team and strategic priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demonstrations for USSOCOM and component commands.
• Contribute technical input for RFI/RFP responses.
• Perform market research for collaborations with industry partners.
• Gather field feedback to translate needs into the product roadmap.
