Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability, field-readiness, and low-signature performance of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

The role emphasizes technical demonstrations, RFI/RFP support, and market research, with up to 50% travel and a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer/Network engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense roles; OR HS diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; U.S. citizen.
• Able to travel 25–50% and work in field environments.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to benchmark and validate architectures.
• Support BD with technical needs and roadmaps.
• Develop demos for low-signature, tactical edge needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP proposal responses.
• Research potential industry integrations for end-to-end networks.
• Engage with USSOCOM leads and SOF components; translate needs to roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs.
