Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will work with engineering and business development teams to demonstrate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field-readiness of StreamCaster MANET radios across multi-domain environments.

You will travel to customer sites and labs up to 50% and contribute to technical demonstrations and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field with 2–5 years of systems engineering/defense tech experience, or HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) or tactical comms systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound and align with priorities.
• Prepare technical demos for low-signature, resilient edge networks.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs.
