Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability of the StreamCaster MANET radios across multi-domain environments, with frequent field trials and up to 50% travel, and remote work option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering, tech business development, or defense roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Bridge technical radio frequency capabilities with USSOCOM customer requirements and emerging trends.
• Assist in demonstrations of StreamCaster MANET radios across multi-domain, tactical edge, and field environments.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations with the Applications Engineering team.
• Identify capability gaps and translate operational needs into product roadmap inputs.
