Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of the StreamCaster MANET radios across multi-domain environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites and laboratories, with a flexible remote option depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum Analysers, signal generators).
• Security Clearance: active U.S. Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. citizen for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and translate needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configuration and live field trials.
• Collaborate with Engineering to verify architectures are sound.
• Support Business Development with technical needs and priorities.
• Prepare technical demos for low-signature, resilient edge ops.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs; remote work possible by location.
