Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will work with Engineering and Business Development to validate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

Reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering, you’ll support demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses, and market research while traveling up to

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or HS Diploma with 5+ years in technical/defense roles.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms systems.
• Familiar with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance.

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to ensure architectures are technically sound.
• Support BD team with technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Develop technical demos for low-signature, tactical edge needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Perform market research for potential integrations.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders across PEO-SOF and components.
• Gather field feedback to inform product roadmap inputs.
• Travel 50% to customer sites and labs; travel may be remote depending on location.
