Job summary

Motorola Solutions (Silvus Technologies) is seeking a Business Development Engineer for USMC engagements. You will bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements, support field tests, and help shape product roadmaps across expeditionary and tactical edge networks.

The role involves up to 50% travel, frequent engagement with MARCORSYCOM and MCWL, and a strong collaboration with the Applications Engineering team to ensure technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defence tech roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols or tactical communications systems.
• Security clearance: Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design and map Marine Corps network goals to tactical radio solutions and operational requirements.
• Plan configurations, field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Partner with Engineering to validate architectures and coordinate with Business Development.
