Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to join the Applications Engineering team. You will bridge RF capabilities with MARFOR customer needs, supporting field tests, demonstrations, and end‑to‑end network architectures across expeditionary environments.

The role requires 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, SDR/IP familiarity, and the ability to obtain SECRET clearance within 15 months.

Qualifications

• Requires SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and lab/test environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps customer requirements.
• Lead technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Develop and present technical demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networks.
• Collaborate with Business Development to align with strategic priorities.
• Capture field feedback to inform product roadmaps and engineering progress.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
