Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs. Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are addressed successfully, develops action plans to correct deficiencies, and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring inventory flow. Develops and implements plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing employees, while ensuring diversity and inclusion. Coordinates activities with stakeholders, supports plans to meet customer and business needs, and builds accountability for results. Promotes continuous learning and adaptability.

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm sales, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training are required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must complete all required training and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through the same programs. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
