Job summary

Viva Biotech Ltd. seeks a business development professional to create partnerships and drive new revenue streams. You will conduct market research, reach out to industry networks, and promote the company brand while establishing long-term stakeholder relationships.

Frequent travel to conferences and client visits are expected. Required are 3+ years in pharma/biotech business development, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a strong network in the industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s in medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, pharmacology, or related field.
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech with at least 2 years in business development in Customer Research Organization sector.
• Excellent technical, negotiation and selling skills in pharmaceutical/biotech industries; deep understanding of drug discovery and development.

Responsibilities

• Create annual business expansion plans aligned with strategic objectives.
• Develop and expand client base; help new clients understand the company’s business.
• Identify, develop and execute opportunities in pharma/biotech, focusing on US bio-hubs initially.
• Collaborate with business development to build joint roadmaps for engaging with new and existing clients.
• Identify viable short and long-term opportunities and convert them into revenue.
• This role is USA-based with frequent travel for client visits and conferences.
