Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits from a fully remote location in the United States. You will act as a liaison between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, ensuring fast, accurate communication and smooth scheduling.

In this role, you will optimize staffing decisions, maintain strong relationships with pharmacies, and continuously improve our workflows and technology.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Typing 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to digest and explain complex information clearly to all users.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits using our platform and tools (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack).
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Manage offers to ensure fair nurse compensation and timely care delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for patients, pharmacies, and nurses via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure visit documentation and task completion.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and learn new processes and technology continuously.
• Foster positive relationships with specialty pharmacies and provide feedback to improve workflows.
