Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support multiple regional Urgent Care sites. The role focuses on welcoming patients, handling registrations, and creating a smooth flow of information between patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance requirements.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach, with commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in other languages highly desirable.
• Strong computer skills. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to travel independently to satellite offices with or without advanced notice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, register patients, and maintain records and accounts to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Respond to inquiries and facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Schedule appointments to provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access.
• Assist with handling incoming correspondence while upholding patient privacy and safety standards.
