Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to provide outstanding customer service across 11 Urgent Care offices in Connecticut. You will greet patients, handle registration and records, and support efficient clinic operations.

This role emphasizes clear communication with patients and providers, timely appointment scheduling, and safeguarding patient privacy. A positive, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• 1 Year customer service experience in a fast-paced medical office preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer routine questions, register patients, and maintain records and accounts.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers and ensure efficient office operations.
• Schedule appointments to provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access.

Job Summary This role provides coverage at 11 Urgent Care offices bringing variety to your workday and the chance to collaborate across multiple teams and communities.
Patient Service Coordinators are responsible for providing outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote a positive patient experience.

• Serves patients by greeting them, answering routine questions, registering patients, and maintaining records and accounts.
• Facilitates communication between patients and healthcare providers and ensuring efficient office operations.
• Responsible for scheduling appointments which will provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access.
• Responds to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and beyond, in accordance with patient privacy and safety standards.
