Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to greet patients, answer routine questions, and register patients while maintaining records and accounts. You will facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare providers and help ensure efficient, patient-centered office operations.

You will schedule appointments to provide timely, accurate, friendly access and respond to messages in line with privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Job Description

Responsible for creating a positive patient experience by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers and ensuring efficient office operations. Responsible for scheduling appointments which will provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access. The Patient Service Coordinator responds to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and beyond, in accordance with patient privacy and safety standards.

• High school diploma/GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
