Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Coordinator to support regional Urgent Care sites. You will greet patients, handle inquiries, register patients, maintain records, and help ensure smooth operations with timely appointments.

This role requires adaptability and strong communication in a collaborative healthcare team. The position offers opportunities to work across multiple sites, with emphasis on patient access, privacy, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance requirements.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach, with commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in other languages highly desirable.
• Strong computer skills. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to travel independently to satellite offices with or without advanced notice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer routine questions, register patients, and maintain records and accounts.
• Create a positive patient experience by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure efficient office operations and timely, accurate, friendly access to care.
• Schedule appointments and respond to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
