Novant Health Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, handle paperwork, verify demographics, and collect co-pays at our South Irby center. You will input charges and maintain front-office materials with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, medical terminology knowledge, and strong computer skills, with willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency is required.
• Customer service experience and medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with front-office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with paperwork and sign-in, and maintain front-office appearance.
• Verify demographics, enter charges, and collect co-payments as needed.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and balance daily transactions.
• Assist in training new staff and ensure compliance with privacy and conduct policies.
