Novant Health Urgent Care (formerly Doctors Care) is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Representative to greet patients, assist with paperwork, maintain the front desk sign-in sheet, and ensure accurate demographics.

You will verify insurance, collect co-pays, enter charges, answer calls, schedule appointments, and keep the waiting area clean. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends, with occasional coverage at other centers will be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with paperwork; maintain front desk sign-in.
• Verify patient demographics and ensure accuracy of records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Enter charges into the system and balance daily.
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments.
• Keep counters, waiting room, and front area clean.
• Refer patients to billing when needed; assist as requested.
• Support training of new staff and adhere to policies.
