Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an operations manager for an urgent care clinic. You will supervise non-physician staff, ensure high-quality patient care, maintain the facility, and manage charges attributed to each patient. The role works with a franchised location and duties may vary by franchise.

The position requires leadership in a medical office, compliance with regulations, and a focus on staff development and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory role in a medical office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboarding for front office medical receptionist, medical assistant, x-ray, and other roles.
• Supervise, evaluate, and conduct performance evaluations of non-provider staff.
• Partner with Medical Director to ensure care meets physician instructions and quality standards.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and state/federal regulations.
• Lead staff meetings and daily huddles; run in-service programs.
• Address patient and staff concerns and monitor patient satisfaction.
• Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and front office procedures.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and stock regular medical and janitorial supplies.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continual improvement programs.
