American Family Care Phillipsburg is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee urgent care clinic operations and non-physician staff. You will ensure high-quality patient care, manage daily workflows, and coordinate with leadership to maintain facility standards.

The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and efficient front-office operations in a franchised setting. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, CMA experience is a plus, and there is an opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years experience working in a supervisory role in a medical office preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in written, verbal, and consultative communications.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard staff for front office, medical assistant, x-ray, and other roles.
• Supervise, evaluate, and conduct performance reviews for non-provider staff.
• Partner with Medical Director to ensure care quality per physician instructions.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Lead staff meetings, huddles, and in-service programs.
• Address patient and staff concerns while monitoring satisfaction and outcomes.
• Oversee front office procedures and accuracy of financial transactions.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and stock of medical and janitorial supplies.
